Intermittent Fasting is a pillar of The FASTer Way to Fat Loss. It has many benefits including improved sleep, improved focus and concentration, better hormone balance, decreased blood glucose levels ( which means more efficient fat burning), better digestion, help in maintaining skeletal muscle mass, and reduction in inflammation. The reduction in inflammation alone is significant as inflammation is linked to risk of several diseases.
Intermittent Fasting is not a 24 hour fast or skipping meals. It is an eating schedule that has limits on a “fed” or “feeding state” and a “fast” or “fasting state”. During fasting the body burns more fat. FASTer Way to Fat Loss utilizes both Intermittent Fasting and the 24 hour fast.
Making it through a fasting period can be challenging for some. You may experience headaches, dizziness, mental fog, and of course hunger pangs. however, my no 1 tip is not related to hydration or keeping yourself busy. My no. 1 tip is to have someone prepare FOR you the meal you break your fast with.
