Spring Break-Ready Meal Plan

How’s your New Year’s resolution going? Many start out with passion only to peter out after a week or two. Depending on whose article you read, only about 10% of people keep their resolutions past a few weeks. Diets are too restrictive and we burn out from spending hours in the gym. The FASTer Way is different. This program puts together nutrition focused around whole foods, but still gives you the flexibility to treat yourself with treats you love.


One of the pillars of the FASTer Way is whole-food nutrition. Whole-food nutrition is a blanket term that is used to describe foods in their more natural state. In general, whole foods have few ingredients, are all easily pronounced and are minimally processed, modified, or refined and do not have added sugars or chemical additives. Artificial sweeteners, processed vegetable oils, and processed foods with preservatives often contain chemicals that are endocrine disruptors and can affect mental health, hormone health, and sleep cycles. One thing we say in FASTer Way is “if it comes from the ground, or has a mother, it’s good!”


If we’re eating whole foods, we’re eating nutrient dense foods which help us achieve real health. The body needs a certain amount of protein, fat and carbohydrate grams each day. If we eat the right ratios, we no longer fight overwhelming cravings, and ensure that our body gets exactly what it needs to build muscle, lose fat, and change our body composition. So often, we have fallen victim to the “eat less, move more” mentality for weight loss, and we don’t eat enough! Or, we remove macro groups (like carbs), which may give immediate success, but not sustainable long term results. What’s great about the FASTer Way is that you learn to eat so you can tailor your daily choices to your lifestyle, preferences, & schedule while knowing exactly how much to eat of each group. Whether you prefer a plant-based diet, or have allergies to specific foods, or have a medical condition that requires a certain diet, the FASTer Way can accommodate.
